Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using BurnCurve, you agree to these terms and the BurnCurve Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use BurnCurve.
Your use of the App Store is also subject to Apple's terms. Where Apple's purchase or subscription terms apply, those terms control the App Store transaction.
What BurnCurve provides
BurnCurve is an iPhone app for general wellness. It can estimate Total Daily Energy Expenditure, display uncertainty, calculate a calorie target based on a goal and selected pace, preserve local history, and show general guidance based on recorded trends.
BurnCurve begins with formula estimates and can infer an adaptive TDEE when enough recent weight and intake history is available. Estimates may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong because formulas, self-reported information, device samples, normal weight variation, and missing data all have limits.
General wellness, not medical advice
BurnCurve does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, or a clinician-patient relationship. It is not a medical device and does not determine whether a calorie target, rate of weight change, or activity choice is safe for you.
Consult a qualified health professional before making changes if you are pregnant or nursing, under 18, managing an eating disorder, taking medication that affects weight or appetite, living with a medical condition, or unsure whether a target is appropriate. Stop using a target and seek professional help if you feel unwell or unsafe.
Do not rely on BurnCurve in an emergency. Contact local emergency services when immediate help is needed.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the information you enter, the permissions you grant, and how you use BurnCurve's estimates. You agree to review targets critically, correct information you know is wrong, and use independent judgment.
You may use BurnCurve only for lawful personal purposes. You may not interfere with the app or website, bypass purchase controls, probe or disrupt infrastructure, distribute malicious code, misrepresent BurnCurve's outputs, or use the service to violate another person's rights.
Apple Health and device data
Apple Health access is optional and read-only. BurnCurve can only read categories you authorize, and only when samples exist and iOS makes them available. BurnCurve does not guarantee that Apple Health or another app will supply complete or accurate information.
Your health and nutrition history is stored locally as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for securing your iPhone and Apple Account.
BurnCurve Plus
BurnCurve does not offer a free forever tier. Continuing to use the full product requires an active BurnCurve Plus subscription after any eligible trial.
Launch plans in the United States
- Weekly: $2.99 per week, with no free trial.
- Monthly: $6.99 per month, with an eligible 14-day trial.
- Annual: $39.99 per year, with an eligible 14-day trial.
Prices, taxes, currencies, and trial eligibility can vary by App Store storefront or change before purchase. The Apple purchase sheet displays the binding price, billing period, and any eligible introductory offer before you confirm.
Billing, renewal, and cancellation
Apple charges your Apple Account after purchase confirmation. Weekly begins billing when Apple confirms the purchase. For eligible Monthly or Annual subscribers, billing begins when the trial ends unless canceled before the trial expires.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Manage or cancel BurnCurve through Apple Subscriptions in iPhone Settings. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not normally end access before the current paid period expires. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Payments, refunds, trial eligibility, and billing disputes are handled by Apple under App Store rules. Mythgate cannot issue an App Store refund directly.
Restore purchases
Use Restore Purchases in BurnCurve Settings to ask Apple and RevenueCat to recover access associated with your Apple Account. Restore requires a valid prior purchase and may require a network connection. Contact support if an active subscription does not restore after you confirm it in Apple Subscriptions.
Availability and changes
We may fix, update, add, remove, or change BurnCurve features when reasonably necessary to improve the product, comply with law or platform requirements, protect users, or maintain the service. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may suspend access when required by Apple, law, security, fraud prevention, or a material violation of these terms. If BurnCurve is discontinued, subscription access and billing will be handled consistently with App Store requirements.
Ownership
BurnCurve, its app icon, software, interface, text, and related materials are owned by Mythgate or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use BurnCurve through the App Store. They do not transfer ownership.
You retain ownership of information you enter or import. BurnCurve does not claim ownership of your health or nutrition history.
Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by law, BurnCurve is provided as available without warranties that its estimates will be accurate, that a target will produce a particular outcome, or that the app will meet every personal need.
To the extent permitted by law, Mythgate is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of BurnCurve. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the product, vendors, subscription model, platform rules, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will change when revised terms are published. Material changes will be presented in a reasonable way before they take effect when required.
